A racing movie better than Grand Prix?

No, the best racing movie without doubt was Checkered Flag.  The sense
of speed is just amazing.  How the camera man kept the camera steady
whilst jogging along beside the cars is just amazing.  A real
professional in action. :)

No person's opinions can be said to be
more correct than another's, because each is
the sole judge of his or her own experience.

Dave, if you're refering to "Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying
Machines", ( a childhood favorite of mine), it predates "Those Daring Young
Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies" by four years.

Once again, I'm afraid, we car people owe our debt of gratitude to the fly
boys for inovation.

Hehe.
Aint that the one where it starts with a car exploding in flames after
running over a tumbleweed.
The guy must have lost tons of downforce when that happened <G>

Hmmmmm...........I'm a bit late in this thread.

Has anyone mentioned The Last american Hero?  Based on Junior Johnson's
story, though the character was called Junior Jackson in the movie.

Can't remember it that well as it was about 16 years ago that I watched it.
Actually can't remember if it was any good or not?  For sure it was better
than "Days of Boredom"
