Dynamite 128...REALLY that good??

I saw that graphics performance chart posted in Sim Racing News, and am
seeking opinions from anyone who has upgraded to this card.  A 30-40%
frame rate increase over a Stealth 64...is this for real??  If so, I'm
buying one tomorrow!!  tia...duncan.

Dynamite 128...REALLY that good??

I just upgraded to the Hercules Dynamite/128 Card last night.  My
previous card was a #9 Trio/64 w/2mb.  I have a Dell P90 w/16mb RAM.
Initial Scores with GP2LOG.TXT were as follows:

        175 Processor
        258 Video w/out S3SPDUP
        318 Video with S3SPDUP

After the dyn/128 installation I received the following scores:

        175 Processor
        336 Video

Although the GP2LOG.TXT results show a slight increase, The Game itself
does seem to be faster.  This may be wishful thinking after spending
$200 on a new video card, but I have increased by frame rate by 1 and
processor occupancy seems to be lower.

Whoops, I think you should have bought a new cpu instead. However other
dos games hould go faster now.

The problem is that the textures takes up alot of the cpu`s power, and
thats what you need for this game cpu power.

I did the upgrade and saw a modest improvement. Dont expect 30%.
