What is your video speed in the GP2LOG.TXT?

I get a 471 with a 100mhz pentium and Diamond stealth with the S3SPDUP
program running.

Gplog scores dont matter shit.
They only reflect your Cpu/BUS speed. A matrox millenium will get twice
the score of a Tseng 6000, even though the Tseng is equaly fast.
The game will NOT be affected by slower Gplog scores.

Hi Roey!

If that is the case, is CBENCH a better measurement of system
performance applicable to GP2?

No! Gp2 DOES NOT rely very much on videocard speed.
It relies on CPU/BUS/MEMORY/etc.
Cbench WILL however tell you how your system will perform in OTHER
games, ones which use Vesa 2.0 for example.
If any experts out there disagree, feel FREE to correct me!

Okay, will do.... :)

CBENCH not only measures your graphics card, it is a measure of your
WHOLE graphics system. It measures the fps output from your video card,
but that score is made up of CPU, cache-ram, DRAM, chipset, video-card
etc etc etc.

An improved score on CBENCH will mean an improved frame rate in GP2,
UNLESS the improvement is only achieved via changing your graphics card.
If that is the case, GP2 won't run any faster as the way it handles
graphics is indeed strange :(

Cheers!
John

Wow - I run P120 clocked to 133 with S3Virge 2mbEDO and 16mb RAM and get
only 468 with S3SPDUP vesa and vga.  Runs nice enough in SVGA for me
tho'.
Then again, I've heard of guys with 166s and ATI's getting 171 video
speed.
How much (and what type) of RAM in the Stealth?
