hi,
isn't there room in the world for people who love both hard core sims
and fun racing games?
gpl offers satisfaction, realism and a challenge that gt2 can only
dream of. gt2 offers instant gratification, tons of cars and a
helluva lot of fun. i like them both. especially when i play gt2 on
my pc using psxe and a psx joypad. the graphics are excellent when
you use your 3d card to improve the resolution. obviously the quality
of the textures is crappy & you still get terrible popup, but it is
way better than on a real psx.
that said, i haven't been playing anything but gpl and gp3 in a
longggg time now.
I don't think less of people who play gt2 compared to the people who
play gpl just because gpl is harder. what would be the point?
everybody's different. not so long ago, i did not have more than half
an hour every few days to spend playing games. gt2 was excellent to
keep my *** withdrawal systems in check.
just my opinion. i appear to be in the minority, but what the heck :)
maybe when I have a gplrank < 100, it might have more weight.
regards,
ian
