F1GP in Win95

Does anybody know how I can get F1GP to work under Windows95 in a window,
without getting too slow? I tried it and it slowed the game down
considerably.
I can run the game at 30 fps on a dx2/66 without problems under DOS and
full screen Win95, with an occupancy of about 95%. But I want to try it
in a window!

so does anybody have any suggestions?
