ECC or TSW?

by Kenny L » Sat, 07 Mar 1998 04:00:00

Anyone out there have any experience with BOTH ECCI and TSW products?  I
think I'm gonna pop for the ECCI CDS2R but I hear that TSW is shipping the
TSW2.  I don't personally know anybody that has a TSW so I can't judge for
myself.  I race 10-20 hours a week so I can justify spending $800 once for
the ECCI.  but if the TSW is just as good...
Any information is helpful.

I cant speak of the TSW but I am the very proud owner of a CDS2. Yes it is
expensive, but it is real sweet. I dont regret spending the money, it is
IMHO worth it.  I would say get the CDS2 because the clutch pedal is only
used in GP2 currently. That would save you some money.

I purchased the TSW Sport over a month ago for $390.00 and it is the best
investment i've made in a long time. Very sturdy, durable....configures
extremely well in every racing sim....has a lifetime warranty....comes with 3
extra pots....company gives great customer service....what more could you ask
for? (Besides a 3dfx patch for Nascar 2)!

My attitude is to wait for all the laser and FF tech to be
commonplace and well sorted out before I would ever contemplate spending
that sort of cash.
