Anyone know where I can get hold of some?  A GPL t-shirt maybe or a VROC
backpack? ; )

I thought it might be a good way for sim fans to spot me at real life
motorsports events and maybe strike up a conversation and to promote sim racing
in general.  (I know - it's a long shot)

Cheers
Damien

PS. Oh, and I'm not after any teddy bears. Sorry.

I was thinking an interesting t-shirt to wear at a motorsport event would
be one that said GPLRank xxx (Where xxx is your GPLRank).  Of course, my
rank is so abysmal I'd not dare do such a thing. :-)

What about a R.A.S. shirt with a quote like "Aussie V8s!!!"

Yeah, or maybe 'rec.autos.simulators' on the front and 'It's no GPL' on the
back.

www.kingofsims.com used to sell some nice GPL T-shirts.  Unfortunately the website
seems to be defunct.  8-(

I'm glad I got mine when they were available.....

Some Yanks made up a mess of GPL shirts and took them to the Goodwood
Festival of Speed.  I tried to grab one or two but all the Xtra large sizes
were sold.  You might do a search through last fall about GPL tshirts  with
google/groups and you might find out if those guys have any left.

Hmm, great idea. I'll forward the idea to the gplrank admins,
maybe we can compete with the West's teddy bears? ;-)

Dave,

I always thought you were a yank?  And you were at goodwood!  (so was I!).
It was an English chap (Glenn Read) was selling them for charity.

All the best,
Ash

I AM a Yank.  A nice cuddly extra large one with a real live beer gut to
prove it.  I thought if I said 'some of my fellow Uhmericans,' it would
sound to Nixonish.
I wasn't at Goodwood unfortunately,  the closest I get to that is the
1 hour special of Alan deCadney waltzing around the grounds with a camera
crew on Speed channel(sometimes I HATE that man!  :>   )
