What's a "Scandinavian flick"? Is something akin to what you
do at the Lauda Linksknick (lift for a second and flick the wheel
over to the left, maintaining speed thru the turn)?

No, it's where you brake somewhat to the inside of the approach to a tight
bend, steer away from and then immediatly into it so as to set up a pendulum
motion to swing the rear of the car around the turn, without losing speed.
In theory, I haven't done a realy successful one yet. <g>
