That, and the fact that along with the demo, you probably get the latest
Starforce drivers so your other "Starforce-enabled" games will probably
be better "protected" too. In other words, assume you have some kind of
workaround that frees you of inserting your precious legit GTR or SHIII
CD/DVD everytime you want to play the game, that workaround may not work
any longer with the new drivers. Not that it will really matter to the
pirates - it will only annoy the gamers who happen to enjoy more
Starforce-protected titles than they have Starforce-compatible
CD-readers attached to their PCs :(
That is IMHO the real "beauty" of Starforce for software publishing
companies: the protection system is regularly upgraded at no cost when
the user installs new games, or demos.
