With the announcement on the Blackhole Motorsports page
(www.bhmotorsports.com) that Papyrus has joined forces with Project
Wildfire, my question is, what do you guys think is the most significant
thing that they bring to the Papy team?

This combination has me confused.

Probably artwork and 3d modelling, under Sierra a lot of Papy's artwork and
3d modelling was outsourced to a firm in Russia I think.

One thing that is 'kinda' disconcerting...they have both been Oval
Centric these past few years.  I'd like to see them break out of that
pattern if possible.

PWF I would imagine is going to do car and track modelling.  Their
updates to Mosport and Riverside were stunning and the
built-from-scratch Trois Rivieres is probably the best non-Papy track
in the sim.

A agree, but AFTER they release NR2005 or NR2006 or whatever it might be.
They had a LOT of changes ready to go in that never made it because of the
screwups at Sierra or Vivendi or whoever screwed it all up.

Personally, now that they own the code again, I'd LOVE to see them release
those changes in a 1.x update to what we have to tide us over until their
next masterpiece is ready.

I would be happy if they would just fix the road course RF tire temp bug.
The rest of the code is pretty damn good already, but I'm tired of having to
work around that temperature problem at every new track.
