What does Trim settingin NH do?

I guess I've never noticed before but what is the Trim setting used
for on the Garage screen on Nascar Heat? BTW, I've got the ***
mode set.

I agree completely that non-linear is *not* the answer. I would simply
remove the check that limits the ratio at 32:1. If I like 250:1 and
you like 40:1, the answer should be "Great, no problem. Change it to
whatever you want". The reason that the steering ratio shouldn't be an
issue is that doesn't give any one driver a mechanical or aerodynamic
advantage in a race.

Absolute Agreement.

The decision on whether to allow this change in fixed setups was bounced
around forever during the Hawaii days until it was decided to leave it open.
That was the proper decision...
