I saw an ad in a *** mag awhile ago of a tiny device that sits on
your head and changes the screen when you tilt your skull. It said in
the ad that it could be used to steer your plane or car and my first
impression was what a dumb idea this is.Today I was playing GPL and
shifting my views while taking turns so that I was looking at the
apex's as I entered the turns. This made it feel so much more
realistic. Then it hit me that this device I am posting about could so
easily be implemented into GPL and upcoming Papy sims.Coming into a
right hand turn you tilt your head quickly to the right for assurance
that its clear. With this device you could look anywhere into a turn
with a tilt of the head and slowly pan back to foward view without the
disorientation the the snap view system gives. The problem is that the
only company that makes realistic sims that I like is Papyrus. We all
know how reluctant to add new hardware to their sims they are so this
is probably never gonna happen. But if alot of us here start to ask for
this it just might make it in.They cant give us the"hardware is not up
to the task...yet"statement as this is foolproof.Another way would be
for wheel manufactuers to add a tiny finger joystick in easy reach of
the players thumb. It could spring back to center so that a quick flick
to the right would work like a snap view and you could then slowly let
the tension bring it back to center as you apex the turn.
