Hi Ray!
Thanx for answering my question!
My log:on score are:
Speed (c.f. DX2-66): 387
Video speed: 518
So there is a 14% diff in CPU and a 24% diff in video. That is a
significant difference tho it isn't huge.
What does this mean in reality, are you able to switch on the sky
texture?
I run in SVGA with all textures on exept sky, in the mirrors i plot:
Kerb, Track and Smoke. The texture in the mirrors are set to none and the
trackside objects to Medium. With this set I get estimated framerate:
25.6 fps but I have set it down to 19.6 fps.
When I drive on Monza, alone practising, I get a processor occupancy of
mostly 100%, 80% in lows and tops out to 140% in fast corners. In many of
the other tracks I have to use less trackside object (and maybe I should
at Monza to 140% isn't really god).
So I guess I'll have to buy a Pro after all :)
Regards
Marcus
