I agree, lets just wait to see how they run. I have a p133 with 16mb and
a DS 3240...crossing my fingers.

The game is really out in Germany. It looks great and very realistic.
The sound is fantastic. It's not the fastest game but you can still
enjoy playing it. On my P133 , 32 MB and PCI-Bus graphics card (2 MB)
with the S3 Trio 64 chipset I get 18.2 fps in VGA mit all details turned
on , but I play GP2 in SVGA with automatic deatails-setting and it's very
playable.  I think you and your P166 friends will get a smooth gameplay in
SVGA-mode , don't worry !

Hi !

An Italian magazine reviewed the localized version of GP2 on a P90 with
16MB of RAM. In VGA full details they got an average frame rate of
17 fps (which is not bad, after all). In SVGA (on the same machine)
with most of the details turned off they got near 15 fps; when they
tried to add all the details (still in SVGA) the frame rate dropped
to 8 fps (sky & asphalt textures were on).

I'm sorry but no other additional details about the machine on which
the game was running were included in the review.

Best,
Roberto
