Eek, the inlaws! :>  Actually, Sunday aft wouldn't be good for many,
since most of us would likely be watching the real-life races we do
our best to simulate online.

Why not a Sunday night?  I'd like to see a poll on this one...I can
understand the fact that you didn't make the decision, Jim, but who can
we write to, to try and change it?

I would have to agree that saturdays would tend to be a bad time for
major races to be held. As the weather gets nicer people tend to have a
little more to do in the way of real life duties. I would like nothing
better than to race 24 hours a day but my spouse doesn't have the same
feelings. I'm not sure how it works but sometimes I think she would
rather i was seeing another woman. In my opinion (for what it's worth) a
weekday night would be better. Most of us race series at that time and
most people tend to be able to arrange their schedule.

OK, ok....new poll...How many of you DIE-HARD sim racers would rather
race on a weeknight...?  This is concerning the championship races,
which, according to Sierra's "InterAction" magazine, WILL be held on
Saturday nights.  Most of us lead a somewhat "normal" life on the
weekends.  I tend to agree with Mike here on this one; the wives and
girlfriends (and in the case of female racers, the hubbys and
boyfriends) may not be too happy about spending Saturday night watch
their significant other race on the computer.  And in my case (and
others, from what I hear), I have to keep a REAL Late Model Stock in
championship hunt at a local NASCAR-sanctioned track on Saturdays.
So, let's hear it from you RACERS out there:  Post here and e-mail the
hell out of Sierra/Papyrus/TEN!!!!

Just a thought, but I suspect that if you qualify as a "DIE-HARD sim
racer" then there would be no option - NRO comes before family, period
;-))

I just wish that I could take part :(((

Well...

Team Menard, Inc  (Yes like in IRL) will put out a one driver team with
Francois Menard as they're driver #1 and Wasupe LeGrand as their setup
builder tester.  They will kick the b*tt of everybody on NRO like in
IRL.  Go Tony Stewart!!!

Also, will NRO be accessible for non-U.S. resident, ie Canada ????.  I
hope yes.  Thanks a lot,

Good race at the Brickyard, (Old'Indytrack guy in rec.autos.simulators)
