F1RS: Thrustmaster Nascar Pro troubles

Does F1RS recognise the Trustmaster Nascar Pro wheel with the switch set to
"seperate" mode? My switch on the foot pedal unit is apparently broken as
the Thrustmaster Pro-Panel in Win95 will only show the wheel as
disconnected when I have the switch set to combined.
I have tried and tried to get the wheel to work with F1RS but to no avail.
As it is I cannot set the controls in the game even if I first set the
various commands to unused keyboard keys first as suggested in many other
posts on this subject.

I get awful spiking when I set the Nascar Pro to separate mode.  If you set
it to combined mode, you have to uncheck the "rudder" box in the Pro-panel
setup.  It will then recognize the controller.  For some strange reason,
this box defaults to checked for the combined setup.

Thanks! Unchecking the rudder box solved all of my problems. I was ready to
send the dang wheel back to Thrustmaster (or out the window) as I thought
it had a broken selector switch. F1RS is one hell of a lot better with a
wheel as opposed to a joystick.

BTW, the latest version of ProPanel on our web page has this little rudder
"feature" corrected.  You may want to download that one to save a little
grief.  www.thrustmaster.com

Thanks,
Alan
