Can anyone reccomend the best graphics setup for a Pentium 120 with
16 MB ram and an STB Powergraph 64 (Trio 64) card with 2 MB
DRAM on it?  Thanks a lot for any information!

My advice is to play about with the settings until *you* are happy. I
use a P120 with a Mach64 PCI card, I run SVGA set at 16fps (estimated
18.2) with track texture, kerb texture and err, trackside objects
textured which are set at low detail.

Lookey here, just like my own hardware! :) Except for the graphics
card (different manufacturer, same chipset).

It all depends on your personal taste, I'd say. I like driving SVGA
with everything turned off, which does not look too bad and gives me
25+ frames per second. If you like to see all those nice graphics,
however, choose VGA and all details but smoke and sky. You'll
definitely want to use S3SPDUP and S3VBE20 (or something) by Dietmar
Meschede, to be found at:

Use them with all switches on (read the help files that come with
them). Those utilities drastically improve VGA performance, although
they don't help too much in SVGA mode.
