Interesting.

I just looked at the box.  On the border of the UPC code is the label
"Monaco GP RS2 UK/US".  That seems to imply that it was intended for the
US.

The box does have some French on the bottom, and the hotline number on
the box is a UK number (44 is UK, right?)  The manual lists numbers for
several countries.

hmm really ? What version was this title (the first 1.00 version or it's
patched already?).  Did it had a different box layout or manual.  I know my
box only says the European version, when I bought it directly at
Ubisoft-Montreal.  Maybe it's only a shipping UPC label made for the US
market (the Euro version being sold in the US).  Interesting indeed.

The MGPRS2 console will start selling this summer I was told.  It's
currently being developed here in Montreal by the team who made
Speedbusters.  It's a direct port, and Im really happy to tell you the
physics will be very close to the PC version. Now people know I hate that
company, but they made a good decision to create a sim on a console, not an
arcade game (the previous F1RS console version was really bad).

I'm pretty sure it was v1.00.  Dunno if this is the same as the European
box layout.  Where can I find the European box layout?  The UPC label is
incorporated into the box design.  IOW it's not a sticker.

I've been driving the Melbourne track.  Man, it's tough to learn.  There
are several combinations of turns that look nearly identical.  And I'm
finding it REALLY hard to recognize my turn-in points.  I don't see any
meter markers.  There are signs*** over the track, but they're
identical and so I'm often slowing early when there's a break in the line
of signs.

Qualifying sure was messy tonite.
