GPL w/ Converter - The ICR2 tracks

I only got the converter yesterday, and a big hand to Dave Noonan and those
who helped him. The converter has worked flawlessly with N3, N2, N99, and
ICR2. And I have been able to link right to the CD without having to install
those games; I don't recall seeing this mentioned anywhere as an option, but
it does work!

Thanks also to those who contributed to the ICR2 graphics update files
located on The Sim Project site, and to Alison Hine who provided such
helpful instructions on her site. The ICR2 tracks never looked better!!

I have done some racing on all the converted ICR2 tracks. Some people have
complained about the AI but I didn't find any significant problems, but then
again I race for fun and probably make dumber moves than any AI driver. I
had a great battle with the AI at Vancouver. We swapped places several times
over a number of laps while fighting for fifth place. It was just great. The
track environment graphics (horizon and buildings and the like) are not as
pretty as the latest NASCAR releases, but the track itself and the adjacent
surfaces look fine.

Also a mention here for the people who made the Lap Analyzer and the GPL
Race Engineer utilities. The analyzer is just a fabulous tool for assessing
performance. It has been a great help on the new tracks. The GRE is an
outstanding tool for dealing with setups, and the help file is fantastic,
although I still am out of my depth with all the technical nuances. I am
waiting for someone to combine the two, so I can drag and drop a replay file
into a window where an animated engineer will automatically generate an
updated setup to correct the problems, while berating me for damaging HIS
car!

If you are a Papyrus ICR2/CART fan like I am, the converter is a must buy.
