Track Talk..(N4 GPL, & real racing) Tonights show

I haven't seen any mention of this other then two times through a thread
that didn't have anything to do with this subject.  So, I figured I'd toss
it up in it's own thread..

Chris Cosby, A GPL driver and league member, started a (Internet) Auto
racing Talk radio show.  This show airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at
7:30 PM (EST) each of these days.  He talks about Real racing and has no
problem talking about Sim racing as obvious through previous shows.  Being
not just a Sim racer but also willing to talk about such, It's almost
natural that we Sim racers (GPL, N4, et..) would be interested in listening
to what is being said.  Being a "Talk" radio show, he has a phone number
that you can use to call in to the show and speak your mind and/or voice
your opinions and such about real, Sim, or other wise as many Sim racers
already have.

This is a perfect opportunity for advertising leagues and/or getting
drivers names out and about if you think about it... He mentioned that for
the moment he'll put your commercials on the air for free!  If I can grab
your imagination for a moment...  Advertising in web pages that a league is
running, and or advertising on RAS that X driver won X race is fun to read
once in a while.  here's the perfect opportunity to spread the word a bit
further!  Not just to the general Sim racing community, but also to the out
side world.  Chris mentioned that if you create an Mp3 file that he'll play
it for you for free.   I know of one (non-Sim) racing fan was listening in
on Monday.  I told him and others about the show and so far he's the only
one that got back to me.  So, I can only assume one or two or maybe more of
those that I told were also listening in but just didn't email me back to
say so(?).  I can also assume that other people that other Sim racers have
told may have been listening to..

You can get more information about Chris and Track Talk through
www.simracingmag.com under the news headings "Track Talk".  There was one
full page there explaining more about it but unfortunately Eric Cote has
barried it with other news.   Hopefully someone else has a link to the
"Track Talk" home page(?)

Whoops...  On SimRacingMag.com you can get the info from clicking on the
Live365 icon on the bottom left of the first page.  That will bring you to
SimRacingMag's page describing everything!

Well, besides me calling in once I find my mic.

Chris does a very excellent show that, on monday, lasted for nearly four
hours of racing and great talk with the online fanbase. It was mainly VROC
guys calling in (when I listened) but it was just fantastic to hear them
talk about racing and what not.

Oh, and in about 4 weeks (the date hasn't been set in stone) the West
Brothers will be calling in to answer 20 questions about World Sports Cars.
Chris and Tony are two of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to, and they love
to answer questions about WSC, so if you want your voice to be heard, please
PLEASE tune in and give it a listen! To call in is free, via computer, so
there's no harm in it, and I honestly hope I hear you guys on the "radio"

Later
