Wow. Managed to get my hands on an AMD K7 750, and what a thing of beauty N4
is now. 50 FPS with 43 cars....outstanding. I miss some of my old N3 tracks
though :-( Do we think there'll be a Busch addon, or something like that, or
are tracks going to be made individually? I want my S. Boston back!!!

Does the 2001  Busch schedule even have South Boston any more?  It seems
the trucks and Bucsch cars are slowly abandoning the short tracks.
(I know I could easily surf and check the schedules but this is more fun
making others
 correct me...)  :>

There will be a BGN add-on that's for sure (not sure if they will include
Truck tracks), but South Boston is no more of the Busch 2001 season.  They
have gone the Nascar way of racing on all those boring 1.5mile D-shaped
tracks :(

As for Papyrus, we have no idea of what tracks will they include, but I'm
positively 100% sure that after the great sales of N4 we will see an add-on
pack on the shelves this year.  I posted back on the other newsgroup a list
of "what I wished for".  Basically it would be around 20 new tracks.

Finally, We can only hope for a old game engine/new game engine convertor
that is compatible with N4.

South Boston is indeed gone from the BGN Series for 2001, but the Trucks
will be running there in Sept or Oct.
I agree, South Boston in N3 was a lot of fun, it was also my favorite race
to attend. Probably go see the trucks this fall, but I'll miss the Busch
cars there. As for getting the track in N4, I certainly hope so...(Myrtle
Beach may be gone for good now, though).

An premier, lurker post,

Yeah that's unfortunate.  I often said that tracks like that could be very
cheap to model.  I mean, the track is incredible (my second favorite after
Nazareth), it's a must-track for N4.  Well any short track is a must-track.
The more the better, I think we have enough of those cookie-cutters D-shaped
1.5 mile ovals in N4.

I don't see the obligation by Papyrus to only license just tracks that are
on the current NASCAR schedule.  Licensing would be probably cheap also.
They could even just remodel it from the old game engine instead of starting
from scratch.  The more tracks the better, I don't want to see just 8-10 new
tracks in the expansion pack.  I want to see 30, at least!!!!! Like NR99.

We need them to fix what we have before adding more stuff :)
