NFS III: Jerky Mouse

To all,

My mouse is VERY jittery in the menu portions of NFS 3, to the point
where I must rely on the keyboard to navigate. I am using a Logitech
Wheel mouse with latest drivers. I also have the latest drivers for my
video (Diamond stealth II G460) and DirectX6.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I too have that same problem and also a Logitech wheel mouse. I just got
use to it. <shrug> and used the keyboard for the menu stuff.

I have a Logitech Mouseman+ and had the same problem as you...very jittery.
I recently upgraded to Windows 98 and the problem was gone.

Make that 3 of us with the wheel mouse and the same problem.  I agree.  Just
use your arrow keys and put up with it.  Funny thing though ... it only
happens in the main menu screen.

From the T/S desk at EA.  do a ctrl+alt+del from the desktop, "end task" on
Em_exec (thats the Logitech driver that controls the wheel and extra
buttons), bingo. smooth mouse.

Kenny,

Thanks, that worked. At least EA got back to one of us. I emailed there tech
support from their WWW page over a month ago. Gotta love customer service.
