GOOD NFS III CRASHES??

Remember the good NFS crashes, back in NFS I?? sure the grapics kinda
suked, for what it was, but the crashes were at least fun!  The cars
would spin around and flip and stuff.  Now it seems that in NFS III
your wheels are glude to the pavement as such or something. Try
tagging a car just for the fun of it.  in original NFS you could spin
them out and flip them.. but not here... try ramming at 120 mph into a
car, and it just stops, dead... thud.  That sucks. the crashes used to
be spactacular. now they just suck.. anyone know why?

You haven't seen a good crash then. I hit a truck head on at over
160mph and it flew backwards on it's fron wheels!! On one of the
tracks there is a short cut on a mountain road with a cliff on your
left. I hit a bump just off the road doing 170mph+ in the XJR and
flipped into the air doing somesaults. Definitely NOT glued to the
floor.

>Hmmm.  I was trying to get a good lap racing a friend on Hometown.

I've had a crash before and caught fire myself! As soon as I landed on
the ground the fire went out. I didn't save the replay however. :-(
Now playing the game like Destruction Derby! ;-)
