N-4, where's the good servers?

I've been trying to race on the sierra servers and I've never seen such a
mess!!
Poor sportsmanship, terrible warping, and morphing every where.
Sometime's the car's can be seen in front of me, other time's they just
disappear.
Almost un-playable on the Sierra servers. I'am on cable so it's not my
connection speed......
Couple that with terrible off-line AI and this game ain't all it's cracked
up to be........In the immortal words of Saddman Hussein..."This will be the
Mother of all Patches".....and like his war, I doubt it will
materialize...............

First off, cable is not the be-all to end-all. Don't think because you get
3MB down that your getting much more the 100-200k up, I know, I have cable.
The flip side to that is that I host a dedicated server on my cable
connection and dialup from home with a 56k to race and have hosted 15 guys
with little warp (no such thing as none, even on a LAN). I experience little
warp when dialing into my own server on my pittily 56k, so I'd say to you 1:
Go find a good bandwidth test to wake you up to the reality that is cable 2:
Stay away from any server (Unless it says it has like an OC3 connection)
that has more than 20 guys on it. I jumped in on a Sierra server with 33
guys on it and saw basically what you did, warpage, 12 yr olds, etc. The
game may support 43 connections, but the computers nor the bandwidth are in
place to adequately run this many people. 3: Since yo DO have cable, host
races instead of joining them. Then you can eject the poor sports you
mentioned. Be advised more than 15 guys, and your stuff will bog down too.

best of luck
