rec.autos.simulators

I've downloaded the IWCCCARS set, which is very good, but I am having
a hard time switching my car from good old #96 to one of the other
cars on the list.  I've tried exporting the car I want, then trying to
import it into the 96 template (after I've cleared it), but I keep
getting the 96 car back.  How do I fix this??

Also, on another note, I've been having trouble with my dos sims since
I acquired WIN 95 a few months ago.  Every time I go to play nascar 1,
nascar 2, and gp1, I have to go to the setup menu and reset the sound,
otherwise I don't have any sound when I play the game.  I have
soundblaster 8, if that helps.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
on both problems...

Dave,

     To import the car that you want,1st export the car,then find the
xported car pcx. file in your nascar2 directory. Rename the pcx to:
Xt_playe. Then go to your car and hit the import button. The new car
will appear. Save it.
