There doesn't seem to be any way in the menus to shut off the music? And the
skimpy manual doesn't suggest anything either. Anybody know how?

F1RCEditV1-4d is out - includes editing menu sounds :-)

available on http://www.f1rcstation.de/ & you don't need to understand
German to get it
