Average Drivers Club GTR Division

Over the course of the last five years, the Average Drivers Club has
established itself within the Grand Prix Legends community as a place
where racers could get together and race without the rigority of a set
schedule, and without the win-at-all-costs mentality that is so common
in online 'pick-up' racing. We'd like to offer that same format to this
fast-growing GTR community. To that end, the ADC is officially
establishing a GTR Division, since the sim is now available world-wide.

What is the ADC? The Average Drivers Club was created on the concept
that racers needed a controlled, structured environment in which to
race. The ADC is a club, not a league. There are no points awarded or
championship standings kept but we will post race results in the ADC
forums at Speedgeezers so everyone can have bragging rights at some
point or another. The primary emphasis in the ADC is on having fun. All
racers are expected to drive in a gentlemanly, courteous manner, with
respect for your fellow racers.

Currently, we are running on Thursdays at 18:30 GMT to accomodate our
European members. Since GTR is now available everywhere, we will add
another event. This event will be scheduled for Thursdays at
approximately 9:00 EDT US, which is actually 01:00 GMT on Friday. This
should accomodate most of the members here in the United States &
Canada. Also, we are working on plans to have an event at least once
per month on a Saturday at a time that is suitable for all members to
attend.

The ADC has it's own, excellent server located in Germany. It's on a
big pipe, and should be able to handle 30-car GTR fields with no
problem. For GPL, this server has hosted full-field races of worldwide
participation flawlessly. I live in Ohio, USA, and the connection has
always been perfect.

The GTR Division will be directed by a gentleman named Andi Cole. If
you're interested in running GTR with the ADC, please contact Andi via

David Fletcher
President ADC

PS: The ADC is not abandoning GPL, though. GPL will still remain the
main focus of the ADC. We are currently running the original 67's and
the 65 Mod, and will incorporate coming mods as we see fit. If you're
interested in the GPL side of the ADC, contact me at
