Anyone able to make a CD image that works for nr2003 yet.I`ve tried with
two programs so far and they wont strip alot of the info off the cd and
write it to the image. Before you answer, yes I know how to make one...
the one I made for 2002 works fine, have not used my 2002 cd to play
the game once since i made it.

Nope.  And Daemon Tools won't work either, but I suspect he'll fix that if
it's fixable.

Sierra is obviously using some sort of heavy-handed copy protection on this
disc.  That spinning CD you see when you launch the program is NOT the
program, it's the copy protection validating the disc.

Once again, legal users inconvienced and treated as guilty right from the
start.

I'm sure Papy has nothing to do with this so I don't hold them any blame at
all.

What's the url for it?  NO cd patches usually mean you can't play online but
nice not to have to stick the cd in and risk it everytime you play offline.

You can't do multiplayer with no-CD patches installed.

Yes I am aware of that, just pointing out this for those that might be
interested.
You can play multiplayer just not via Sierra.

How long have you run the cloned CD?

I only ask because NR2002 had this *** habit of leading you on, and then
would freeze at intermittent times in the game when a back up CD was being
used.  It drove a lot of us MAD until we figured out what was going on!

CD Image for 2003?

by Txl » Sun, 09 Feb 2003 19:36:49

well in this case it's quite obvious isn't it ?

So here's the "plain english version"

Supplied by: FAIRLIGHT            If you were working for Papy and had
access to "gold" cd's your name could be there

Cracked by:  FAIRLIGHT           If you could do thiyour name could be here

Image Format: BIN/CUE            It means to burn the extracted files on a
cd you'll need to have a program that does cue/bin

CDS: 1             Means it'll fit on 1CD

Protection: SecuRom            Means the original game uses SECUROM as it's
"Protection", if you use CLONECD you'll want to know this

CD1 archives: 36 x 15 MB        It means on the CD1 you have 36 archives of
15Megs each

CD1: flt-nrs3.001 -> .036            Files are called flt-nrs3.001 to
flt-nrs3.036   (remember the 36 files part ?)

System Requirements: puter                It means you need a computer to
play it, sometimes you need more than that, like a synth keayboard for some
music software, or 2 sound boards for BPM STUDIO for example...

Installation Information :
  ==========================

Just extract the archives and burn the .cue file with your favorite
CD-Recording
software. Make sure to copy over the crack to the install dir and enjoy.

  Use this serial to instal:

This one is quite obvious, it's the "how-to" once you've gotten the files.

No need to say that this "cracked" version does NOT allow multiplayer, not
yet...

i'm curious.  when you get in your car and have to use a key to start it
instead of just pushing a starter button, do you feel inconvenienced and
persecuted?  after all, the keylock ignition system is only there to prevent
other people from using your car without having paid for it, isn't it?
