I'm about to change my computer for an AMD Athlon 1.4ghz, Geforce 64 meg ddr
ram and 256 meg of ram.
Would it be great for GPL ?

i have athlon 1.2 geforce 32 and 512 meg o ram and its perfect for
gpl - and everything else i might add

The best addon for that system would be the "fast cpu" patch from
www.papy.com.

I believe it's only relevent for cpus 1.7ghz and higher, some people
have had problems with slower cpus and the patch...

Considering gpl was made for 3-400 mhz cpus and Voodoo2s, it should
absoutely fly in GPL :)
