GPL: Anyone running F3 Series races anymore?

by G Patrick » Mon, 04 Nov 2002 07:11:05

I found GPL Eng Mgr 1.1.12 and it has FG and FD converters. I also see
where I can ser F2 and F3 cars up with 2.0 and 2.5L Race engines. Is
"FV" simply set up this way?

Thanks
Gary

It is Gary, there's a page about setting it up at our site. Unless you're
using the patch for 1.4GHz+ CPU's (Fast CPU patch), in which case you need
to download Gem+ (GPL Environment Manager Plus) from GPL++ (www.gplpp.com).
This one does have an FV preset. Just select your FV player, your preferred
car and FV from the dropdown boxes and hit "Run GPL".

Jan./ the guy that runs the GPVL FV league.

I can't believe that Lime Rock is an available track now!! I was THERE
last saturday, thinking how cool it would be to have it available in
GPL!!!

Man I HAVE been away a long time...

Jan -
Should I be using the "Fast CPU" patch? I running an Athlon 2100+
(obviously above 1,4GZ) w/o any issues. Is it for online play
anomolies or what? This thing has had more stuff added than Falcon 4!

Thanks.
Gary

You should be using the patch or are unknowingly already using it. The
"standard" game runs at twice normal speed without it.

I think the versions are multiplayer compatible.
