2nd day and they told me on the phone that they had it in stock and were
shipping it to me right away, the 3rd day when I called them another
sales person on the phone told me they had been out of stock all week.
One of these two telephone sales people at buy.com was mis-representing
their stock status, one way or another one of them is either not telling
the truth or is not skilled enough at their job to find out the true stock
status, either way it makes buy.com inferior to other online retailers.
Again, no-one is telling you not to shop with them, if you like being
treated like that then go right ahead and keep shopping with them, my
post was meant only to warn other online shoppers like myself that don't
want to have headaches when ordering. Personally I've had terrific online
ordering experiences with other online retailers including mwave.com, necx.com,
800.com, reel.com, dvdexpress.com etc. so personally I have no need to put up
with buy.com's hassles, when I can get good prices combined with good service
from better retailers.
Anyhow, I didn't want to start some huge argument or tell everyone not
to shop there, just pass on a warning for the more discriminating online
shopper.
Take care.
Seeyas on the track.
