hey Rick how come in Nascar racing most of the time when your in close
racing and you and another car do some bumping but no one wrecks
you get a yellow flag! I am using 1.2 version is there any way to make the flag
not so touchy.
one other question im using a pent. 90 with a basic cirr. logic card
would it be better to upgrade the cpu or go to a new 3d card like the
edge or millinium instead and is that version you pack with these cards
that much better ive heard from others its not but would like your opinion
im sorry 1 more question im looking to get the virtual i-o glasses
have you tried these in nascar and will you support head tracking.

                      thanks in advance

My first attempt to reply was interrupted. If you receive a duplicate of

We've recently made changes to the yellow flag code that seems to make it
much more reasonable. These changes will be incorporated into NASCAR
Racing for Windows/Macintosh.

I wasn't involved with either the Edge or Millenium ports, and I've only
briefly seen NASCAR running on the Millenium. Personally, my preference is
for a faster CPU.

I don't know of any plans to support head tracking and VR headsets. I
suspect that the market for these devices is pretty small, and I don't
know how much engineering effort is required to support them.

Will there be an upgrade offer for all of us loyal faithful followers of
your sim?  I have bought every version of your software (including track
packs) since Indy 500.  I feel it would be a kind thing to offer an
upgrade at a decent price.  Sierra/Dynamix is doing this with Aces of
the Deep Win95 edition.  You only have to send in your original CD and a
check for $15.00 to upgrade to the Windows95 version.

Now don't get me wrong, while it would be nice to get a good price break
on moving up to ICR II from I, this is a totally new product.  But my
understanding of NASCAR Windows/Macintosh is that this is basically the
same product enhanced for Windows.

How 'bout a break?

How about a patch for those of us who are happy with the DOS version.

In my opinion, VR is the future of simulation.  Papyrus should start
working on HMD support now.
