This wheel is VERY MUCY like a cross between a TSW and a Thrustmaster.
The pedal base weights in at about 3 lbs and the pedals pivot on a
reverse hinge (just like a REAL CAR) so the pedal base doesn't slide
around. Pedals are HUGE and textured and very responsive.
The wheel is much larger than my MS Sidewinder FF and doesn't have as
thick a grip but it only took me about 20min to get used to the feel.
The shifter kicks ass - big and solid - I just wish they'd make a
shifter that did the full H-pattern rather than just UP and DOWN.
Wheel has 2 big buttons on right spoke that are easy to access while
driving and a directional-hat mounted on the left wheel spoke. Wheel
motion is very smooth and has almost a full 360deg of turning range -
probably about 340deg actually.
The clamping system is exactly like the Thrustmaster (curved arms that
go under the desk and***down until tight. UNLIKE the annoying
levers on the TOP of the thrustmaster the MadCatz is brilliant with
DIALS on the sides that you spin to tighten down the arms and the
cam-levers are on the outside edge of the wheel-base.
My big gripe so far is that those curved levers are right where my
legs go under the desk so I have to lower my chair to an
almost-uncomfortable level to fit under the wheel.
There is NO FORCE FEEDBACK on this wheel but as long as you know that
going in you shouldn't be disappointed.
Wheel comes with DIGITAL DRIVERS - VERY NICE and a couple games
(Interstate 76 Nitro Pack and Andretti Racing - duh!)

this wheel performs with GPL, Viper, NFS High Stakes and other racing
