RC tracks being as thin on the ground as they are I'll take what I can get
:)

Any chance of letting us in on *which* tracks? or is that still 'in the air'
so to speak?

Vennt.

Nope, that has been decided already, David is way past that stage,
although he may or may not decide to do more tracks at a later date

As for which tracks is actually in, sorry, that info is not up to me to
release yet

Ofcourse! Bathurst would also be great in N2002.. in fact I would
prefer Bathurst even over the Ring now that you mention it!

Maybe the first version of the tracks they offered for download contained
the dat files. Then they noticed (or were told) that this infringes Papy's
or other's copyrights, and then they pulled that version and replaced it by
a version that only contained the files they'd modified.

That's exactly what happened, in fact it was me that pointed out that it
wasn't legal to host the original dat files. I did it to protect my website
where a link to the files had been posted.

Thanks Goy, I'm just too lazy to completely reinstall N4 just to convert 3
tracks ;)

Now if it was the Ring...

IMO these tracks should be good in N2002:

Mosport, Silverstone, Monza, Spa, Watkins Glen, Kyalami and possibly Rouen..

These on the otherhand I think will be too twisty and generally be unsuited
for stockcars;
Monaco, Mexico, Nurburgring and possibly Rouen  (heck some of them are even
unsuited for GPL!)

As for addon track..  Goodwood, Snetterton, Brands Hatch & ?sterreichring
are just a few track that I would think should be cool in N2002...
