DX266 and ICR2

I'm wondering how well a DX266 would work with Indycar2.  I bought
Indycar2 and right now running it with DX33 in both VGA and SVGA (with
everything off ).  I can't quite afford a new system ( Pentium ) and
DX4100 is an overkill on my current Motherboard ( and expensive, too ) so
if anyone out there have any experince running Indycar2 on a DX2 66: when
running in SVGA ( the graphics are so cool compare to VGA ) what can be
turned on ( I'd prefer the car details, and object texture, especially
important on track like Toronto )?    My objective is to get a decent
frame rate, enuff so you could feel the speed without too much frame
dropped.  Thanks

I have a DX2-66 Genoa MB, Genoa VESA local bus video, 16megs DRAM.
I find that ICR2 is too slow in SVGA.  It is playable, but the frame rate is
slow, and everyting is off but skids.
Pentium 75s are cheap now and PCI is the future.
