"twigged"?

I can't speak for Dave and John, but from my point of view, it was a lack of
familiarity racing with Sean.  I wasn't sure WHERE he was going to go.  Maybe
the others felt the same way.  I think *that's* what caused everyone to jam up
in the same area of track.

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...

English "old boy" -speak for "realised" or "got"

Simple, he was going to go low whether he liked to or not. He's on is own,
we caught him as he was about to cut down into the corner. You continue on
the high line and by mid-corner there's a wall of cars, moving 5mph faster
than he is, on his outside and the decision is made for him.

Eldred, you know I like you as a person, rate you highly as a driver and
appreciate what you do for the community, but you can be awkward at times...
you're too concerned about misjudging things or making mistakes and it's
slowing you down.

_No doubt_ Eldred... you're a good racer, you just need to work on the
singlemindedness part.

I'd say your hesitation now causing both lines to be blocked had something
to do with it. <g>

Hmm...that's not good.  I'll have to look at the replay, because I don't
remember being in the lead of that pack.  In other words, *I* didn't make that
decision...  I *think* I checked up to avoid hitting DGF or John, and my
evasive action put me on the inside, right behind Sean.
