selecting drivers in F1GP

In F1GP you start out as the first driver by default.  I then go to the
drivers/teams menu and select a different driver.  I then saved game
options assuming that it would keep my new driver selection.  It didn't.
Is there any way to set it up so that you start out as anything but the
default first driver?

Thanks

Assuming you're using the PC version ... The default first driver is
always the driver you have selected in the "quick race" settings.
(Main menu, go to "Game Options Menu" and then "Quick Race").  This
information is saved in your F1GP preferences file (updated by
choosing "Save Options" from the Game Options Menu).

If you want to select more than one driver as default (ie. for
multi-player games), you could check out my editor which runs under
Microsoft Windows. It's available for download at:

http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/f1gp/

It covers the area of selecting human drivers pretty well.

The driver selected by default is the one you select to be for a quick
race. So change the driver number in quick race options to the number of
your driver, save options and your driver is default.
