This game (along with Madden 2001) makes the Playstation 2 worth buying. It was
created by Rainbow Studios, the developers of Motocross Madness 1 and 2, and it
is one of the most fun racers I have ever played. While it is not a ***
sim, it is about midway between a full sim and an arcade physics model.
Gravity is a bit light, and you can take turns a bit better than you could in
real life, but the balance between arcade and sim is nearly perfect. The
graphics are awesome even on a TV, and the framerate is top notch.  It is
definately worth taking a look at.

I agree, it's a great game. I've had a PS2 for a few weeks, and this
is the first game I'm going to buy (on Thursday, payday ;-).

BTW, found an interesting thing abuot the PS2. It's compatible with my
PC USB mouse. Used it to play Silent Scope (true plug n' play, didn't
even have to reboot the console - amazing!). And apparently, the GT3
demo is compatible with Logitech FF wheel. If the final GT3 game works
with the PC wheels, it could be the best racing game ever!

I cannot wait for GT3, the game screens and videos look even better than the
best PC racing games I have ever seen, albeit they are lower resolution on a
TV, but resolution sure does not tell the whole picture when it comes to
graphics. I think that I will be getting a new Logitech FF wheel for both PC
and PS2 soon.
