I "think" we are missing a vital concept here. GPL runs at 36fps. That
is the maximum required to achieve all the input and output functions in a
timely and lag free manner.
In Gp3...25fps are all that are needed to acheive what that program needs
to display and feedback all the info. Now I'm not saying 36fps isn't
nice...but if you compare that to the 100+ fps that many players in Quake
III get....you may get my point. Sure it would be nice if Gp3 produced more
fps, but it isn't necessary to show the full game. Just like GPL doesn't
need 100+ fps to show all it's bells and whistles...
