SCGT Servie Pack 3.0--- Changing my views on CD Burning

by James Wohlev » Fri, 03 Dec 1999 04:00:00

ok, after all the requests I have received I have decided to change my
"copy" policy.

The SCGT Service Pack 3.0 (from here out the "pack") and any further
additions to the update falls under the following criteria:

1) The "pack" can be copied onto any computer for use with Sports Car
GT retail for personal non-profit use only.

2) The "pack" may be copied and distributed FREELY as long as no
monetary value is applied or received for the "pack"

3) You MUST own a retail copy of Sports Car GT and have the retail CD.

4) The "pack" exe file may not be reverse engineered to allow use
without the retail CD.

5) The "pack" may not be bundled with any commercial or shareware
products what so ever.

6) All photos are copyrighted by their respective authors and are not
the property of Techware Motorsports, Techware Computer Services, or
James Wohlever.

7) All code is property of Image Space Incorporated and is distributed
by Electronic Arts.

8) No warranty or liability is applied to this "pack"

9) The "pack" is not authorized by Image Space Incorporated or
Electronic Arts and therefor no technical support by either company
will be granted for the "pack"

10) No technical support or guarantees of compatibility are applied to
the "pack"

So in plain english, if you want to copy it via CD-Rom and give it to
others that would like to use it, that is fine with me as long as you
don't make money from it and you own the original retail game.. You
are also (cough cough, excuse me) required to ask the copyright owners
of all photos and code for the use of there copyrighted materials.

Thank you... just wanted to make sure we kept this whole issue in
perspective.  :)

Brilliant work you've done, by the way, and that's the main point.

So does anyone in the UK want to burn it to a CD.  I will pay the cost
of the CD and postage.

Many thanks

Andrew
