GP3...SAVE US!!!!!!

% It seems to be the way new releases are going these days, lots of eye candy
% and graphics hogs, then let the systems catch up to them.
% I don't see it as a problem with their game engine, just that they loaded
% the graphics up too much for most of today's processors.
% Bet you had to turn some GP3 options off to get it to run acceptable as
% well? I know I sure did.
% Still though, I do fault them for not supporting glide, I think they could
% have achieved better results .

I can live with turning off eye-candy if there is enough meat in the
rest of the package to make it worth it.

Using Glide in NFS:PU doesn't seem to enhance the frame rate over
Direct3D.  I still feel that F12000 was released well before it was
finished and one of the many things that weren't optimized was the
graphics.  A glide version of f12k won't be any better until they
optimize their graphics engine.

enabled or not): The AI have smoking tyres for every corner even in
formation lap, that doesn't happen in real does it? Or how about 4 cars
crashing out in formation lap! Realistic? Nah! <<

Different sim to what I use then!  Doesn't happen with me.

visit the grass/kerbs. <<

Again, you're running a different sim from me. Push the car near its limits
(on or off track) and see what out of balance/spinning you get.  Very
realistic.

If you turn the AI up to 100-120 then the locking up on every corner and
clouds of billowing smoke go away to some degree.
