I have a friend who has the mac version of icr2.  I use PC in dos mode.  I
know how to export a car from paintkit, and then insert a new one in its
place by renaming it the same as the old one.  How does one accomplish this
in Mac version?  There is no option to export or import a car.  When we go
in the paintkit for Mac and use the import a decal option and select a
painted car (.pcx) file, the car is too small to fit within the boundaries
of the car on the screen.  Comprenda?  Could you please shed some light on
this dilemma!

For some strange reason, the car "mask" used to place the decals in the
Mac version is different (as you saw) from the PC version. There are two
ways around this:

1. Use a graphics program on the Mac as an intermediary for the PCX
graphic. After loading the PCX, you would then cut and paste the parts of
the graphic into the PaintShop. This doesn't work real well.

2. Or, simply convert an entire car set, which does work well. If you
would like to pursue this route, e-mail me and I will send you
instructions.
