Nascar has a fixed filename importing system.  To import a car to race with,
name it nasc94.pcx and place it in the C:\nascar directory.  Then go to your
car in the Paintkit and import, then save.  I have a file explaining this
more at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

The easiest way to do it is to copy the car PCX to the NASCAR directory and
rename it NASC94.PCX. Run paintkit and select the first car after the pace
car (the car you normally drive). Hit the import button and that should
bring the new car in. Save the car and then go back to the menu to swap the
car to where you want it in the set.

The cars you wish to add to the car set must be pcx files in the base Nascar
directory.  They must have the proper name to be able to replace a car.

Say you have a car named drpepper.pcx for the Dr. Pepper car:
Place the file in the base Nascar directory.
cd to the base nascar directory.
copy drpepper.pcx nasc94.pcx
open the paintkit.
select paint cars.
select next car to see car number 94.
use your mouse to click on select.
use your mouse to click on import.
the existing car will be replaced with the Dr. Pepper car.

To find the names of other cars you wish to replace go into painkit and
select a car, then choose export. If you go to your base Nascar directory
you will see the newly created pcx file with the proper name.

You should leave the original carset alone and make a copy of it under a
different name. Use this new carset in paintkit and to make all your changes
to it.

Good luck,
Troy
