Just 'installed' the Toca patch which is supposed to improve things but it
comes with no help info and I cannot see any visible difference in menus or
graphics quality.
Am I doing something daft?

dig back to the announcement of the TOCA patch and check out what issues they
address with the patch. I believe the main focus of the patch was network
play.
I don't recall menu's etc being mentioned...(but with my memory who knows!)
