Won't make the May 6th date (though I confirmed earlier) as this is really
my mum's birthday and, though I'm pretty sure she loves me, I'm not going to
get away with not taking her out for a meal Sunday lunchtime and racing
online instead. I'll have to pass this one up (don't reschedule on behalf of
me, please).

As for Road Atlanta, excuse my ignorance, but what date is Memorial day?

Jan.

I'll be there.... Jens Kruuse is constantly nagging me that he has won an
EldredGp and I have not.
I'll wipe that smirk of his face when we hit Mexico, my favorite track ;)

One little detail though, 9am EST is "European standard time", not something
like "Eastern Standard time"... Right ??

Yes, Mikkel, EST is European Standard Time. You just show up at 9 in the
morning, and if nobody else is there, the race has been cancelled. We
just forgot to tell you. :-)

/Jens

P.S: Please, please don't anybody tell him that it's actually 15hr00
CEST (Central European Summer Time)
P.P.S: That goes for you too, Jan! :-)

"EST" means Eastern Standard Time?

I ask because most of the United States is on daylight savings time
until October.  In the world spanning online games I've played,
I've simply gotten used to which event organizers are perennially
out of synch, and which ones actually mean what they say.
(The ones in Arizona, usually ;)

Sadly, it doesn't generally help to express the event time in
a coordinated time like UTC because the wrong conversion is
used 83% of the time. It makes it really confusing when both
local and UTC are specified but because of the conversion error,
the times don't actually describe the same time. ;)
