I recently loaded GP1 (World Circuit) up, once again. Ive been playing
GP2 ever since it was released, and you kind of forget how the previous
game was. So, i reinstalled GP1 and played it for a while. I must say
that GP2 feels waaaay much more realistic!!
I used to love GP1 (still do but in a different way), but GP2 simply
outshines GP1!! Now I really appreciate GP2 more than ever, and Id just
like to say one thing to those of you who used to run GP1 and
are complaining about small bugs in GP2. Install the old GP once again
and see what you think about it now...very realistic...NOT!!

I totally agree, I also played the 'old' one again recently and I flew
off the track in one corner (my mistake) and landed back on the track.
Then I found out that GP1 is not real at all! The computer cars just did
like I wasn't there and stayed on the ideal line and crashed into me...
engine broke... race over. In GP2 this probably would not have happened,
because the computer drivers seem to like their lives too much and drive
around me. So what if there are a few minor bugs... these can always be
fixed one way or the other, but the realism just is a lot better than
in GP1.

I think that is worth a lot.
