And, along with Randy Cassidy, was on the grid in the very first online GPL
race I ever did.  Nearly wet my pants for fear of messing up with them
around... ;-)

And Randy, of course!  He was among the most open, accessible, and collegial
of the otherwise secretive Papy inner circle.  He and Alison worked
well--and successfully--together.  I wish him well wherever he is, too!
