Is there anybody who can help me or hasd the same problem.
I am sure to have the latest drivers from nVidia (co with AMD)
ver.3.62
patch for GPL ver. 1.2.0.1 for the right UK version.

My config is:
AMD Athlon500
Geforce256 (Asus V6600)
64 rams

Problem is that I can only get 640*480 res without bad ***up of the
screen on left and right sides. There's a kind of horizontal lines
messing up the sides here.
But in 640*480 it's oke. But I didn't buy such a hardware to run 640 !!
Is there anybody with a solution.
ps. I have done the blocktransfer thing already.

Odd, I have a a GeFore Pro (DDR version) and go 1024 without problems.
I am using P2-450 I suspect if it is the problem between GeForce with Althon.
Have you got the fix for Althon?

Do you have the opengl patch from www.theuspits.com? this will allow for a
better frame rate and higher resolution the the Geforce card.

I have not tried SDR version but DDR works pretty well for me. Speed on

too expensive. I got the CL one but from the reviews I read about SDR
cards, I get the impression that others, especially from Asus, are faster.

Back to GPL, it runs smooth with OpenGL b2 driver, but I have not yet tried
a race to see how it rank up.

I had the same problem (I have Athlon 700 with GeForce SDR) - only
workaround I found is to press F2 (for replay), then escape to
quit the replay. As if by magic, the corruption is gone. Mirrors
still don't work properly though, so I use the roll bar view only.

Unified drivers running Glide in GPL? I'm considering upgrading to a
GeForce cos it will run so many other games so well, but my main focus
is GPL. The Unified drivers sounded like they were the answer, but do
they work?????

I have the newest "fix" from AMD/nVidia but it doesn't fix the problem so I just
have to stick to the oldfashion 640*480 untill there will be real fix.
Thanx for letting me know that it's possible with a GeForce.

Hello,

Unfortunately, one can only get the unified driver from CL if you are in US.
Their site require you to input the serial number bu my serial number (I live
in Hong kong) does not. I cannot tell but since I still keep my good o' Voodoo
2 card (Pure3D2) I would love to try th UD but I have serious doubt that it
may be work with a Voodoo on board.

Did you get the GeForce fix for Athlon also? I did a micro research on deja
and someone is used to have problem with Half-Life. What he did is uninstall
the game and re-install it again. May be you should try to uninstall and then
re-install GPL. Or you may wish to try nVidia's beta driver which can
be found in the "Reference Driver List" at VoodooExtreme site.

I have the CL GeForce SDR version, and live in Singapore.

I would like to get the Unified drivers as well as I have some old Glide
games. Does anyone know if the Unified drivers would run them?

I am sorry but I cannot get the Unified dirver since it is for CL buyers
in US only. I wonder how I can get it in my hands.
