INTERMEDIATE-TIMES DURING GP2-RACE??????

by Erik van Duij » Mon, 02 Nov 1998 04:00:00

Hi there,

for some (to me) unknown reason they (MICROPROSE) removed the
intermediate time-display during a GP2-race. Why? Now there is only one
gap-time that is displayed: the gap on start/finish. It would be good to
also get the other two intermediate gap-times displayed. Does anyone of
you know if there is a patch out there that can solve this?

Thanks!

Have you tried to hit the "G" during the race,...then you can see the gap between the driver in front and
on your "Tail" during the whole race!
Except on the first lap out of the pits or during the first racing lap!

Groetjes uit Leiden,Erik.....Ook zo genoten van de race vannacht,...of was het voor jou een nachtmerrie,
voor mij in ieder geval niet.

INTERMEDIATE-TIMES DURING GP2-RACE??????

by Erik van Duij » Mon, 02 Nov 1998 04:00:00

Ruud,

I know that, but what I mean is the actual gap, not the gap on
start/finish. This gap should be updated (and viewed) when passing the
two time traps (intermediate points). Now GP2 only calculates the
difference on start/finish. That the G key is able to show this gap is
nice, but it is an old (start/finish)value and not the actual gap on the
two time traps.

So in fact there should be three gaps displayed: one on start/finish
(they DID implement this one) but also two for each intermediate trap
(they did NOT implement this).

My question: is there a fix for this?

Cheers!

Hi,

Nope.
There was a nice util for F1GP, but to make something similar for GP2
seemed to be too difficult.
