Aussie V8's

I just wish all the bickering between different classes would stop. If
someone sat everyone down and thashed out a decent plan, then we'd
have 2 major championships running, both well supported, and even more
young drivers coming through the ranks...but enough of my rant.....

I won't be putting too much faith into the new game, and will adopt a
wait and see attitude. Aussie racing games seem to suck historically
speaking (aside from Powerslide, but its more arcade, but a damned
fine drive anyway).
If they have modelled the Oran Park short circuit I am going to spew
(its hellishly boring to drive)

Me, a Ford Groupie?! My Dad would love to hear you say that. I blame it on
him. He tried to turn me into a Ford fan, but I think I have bitterly
disappointed him by driving 'Jap crap'. It hasn't stopped him from racing my
'hairdryer' WRX RA! :)))

well we fail to mention godzilla Nissans GTR it would quite plain to see
that it ate all before it, including those little pocket rockets
Sierras , yes i know that there wern't to many seirras that it raced against
but it did soundly thrash those it did and yes V8 super car racing is
***ing boring

Taking about GTR Nissans. I walked  about 8 K's the other
day while in Auckland NZ  looking at R32 and R33 GTR
Godzilla's ($35000 and $60000 respectfully). Awesome cars.
The R32 is a realistic goal for me. When the morgage is done.

Yeah I disappointed my father inlaw when I bought a Jap import
Nissan R32 GTS Skyline. He is adament I should have bought
kiwi assembled stuff.  But you get all the fruit ith imports
for the same money. Oh and the VT Holden is much better
looking car the that discusting AU Ford.

It's a thousand time more exciting that the Aussie Super Tourers or the F1. I
must admit, the best racing at the Supercar events is in the GTP classes.
Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Subaru WRX's etc. Magic stuff!

Typical Ford fan, too embarrased to admit in in public! Too bad the WRX STIs
sold out so quick. Would of been a terrific "company" car!
